Gabriel Tan Studio is a design practice working across the borders of craft, culture and technology. Exploring new ways to interpret luxury and break archetypes, the studio works on product and furniture design for international clients including Blå Station, Design Within Reach, The Conran Shop, Ishinomaki Lab, TAKATA Lemnos and Authentics.

Gabriel Tan also creative directs the brands Ariake and Turn. Aside from his design work, he has guest lectured at Lasalle College of the Arts, Pratt Institute, National University of Singapore, the University of Oregon and also served as a jury member at the Cannes Lions Festival.

Pauline Deltour was born in 1983, in Landerneau, France. She graduated from les Arts Décoratifs in 2007 and worked for 4 years for Konstantin Grcic in Munich, Germany. She opened her very own studio in Paris in 2010. Distinguished by being both severe and delicate, its designs reflect a vocabulary which is characteristic of her own personality.

Her precise hand, neat lines, carefully selected materials and colour ranges, and the way in which they came together, formed the individual identity of this her work. Emblematic, hard-hitting seduction is achieved through rare qualities which are as elemental to the design as they are challenging to implement. An iron fist in a velvet glove is how she drove all the projects she worked on, which range from tableware to furniture for public and private spaces.

Claesson Koivisto Rune is a Swedish architectural partnership, founded in Stockholm, in 1995, by Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune. It started as an architectural firm, but has since become an internationally-acclaimed, multi-disciplinary office with an equal emphasis on both architecture and design. Project categories include buildings, hotels, homes, shops, offices, exhibitions, kitchens, sanitary ware, tableware, glassware, furniture, textiles, tiles, lighting, electronics, candy and even a trophy.

Their product designs have received more than 60 awards and are represented by more than 80 international companies. Twelve books have been published focusing solely on the work of Claesson Koivisto Rune.

Snøhetta is an architecture and design firm which has offices in Oslo, New York, Innsbruck, Paris, Stockholm, Adelaide, Hong Kong and San Francisco. Since 1989, Snøhetta has established itself as a world-renowned practice of architecture and design. In 2004 the company received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, in 2009 it was honoured with the Mies van der Rohe Award. The World Architecture Award, Best Cultural Building 2009, and European Prize for Urban Public Space in 2010 were received for the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet.

In 2011 Snøhetta received the Gold Award for Visual Identity for the new brand identity of DNB. In the same year the Norwegian Wild Reindeer Pavilion was awarded the World Architecture Festival Award as well as the ArchDaily Award for Building of the Year 2011. In 2015 the Plus House Larvik obtained the WAN Sustainable Buildings Award.

Hallgeir Homstvedt holds a BA of Industrial Design and honours from Newcastle University in Australia. After completing his degree in 2006, Homstvedt went on to work for the pioneer design studio Norway Says before opening his own design studio in 2009. Homstvedt has exhibited his work in London, Tokyo, Oslo, New York and Milan and has since received a number of design awards.

Working in fields of furniture, interior and product design, Homstvedt makes products that are tactile, interactive and engages the observer’s curiosity. Among his clients are renowned Norwegian and international furniture manufacturers like Hem, Muuto, LK Hjelle and Established & Sons.

The architects of the team, great admirers of the Brazilian modernism generation, seek to fulfil the task of rethinking and giving continuity to this iconic architectural movement. The projects of Studio MK27 place value on formal simplicity and are elaborated with extreme care and attention to details and finishings.

Marcio Kogan is an honorary member of the American Institute of Architecture, professor at Escola da Cidade in São Paulo and Politecnico di Milano, is part of “Wallpaper’s 150 Famous for 15 Years”, and came in 39th in Dezeen’s Hot List 2017. Since 2001, when he started a co-creation and cooperative work system at the office, Studio MK27 has won more than 250 national and international awards.

Jin Kuramoto graduated from Kanazawa College of Art in 1999 and founded his own design studio in Tokyo in 2008. The studio applies its strong, clear and innovative design philosophy to furniture, home electronics, automotive design and daily necessities.

Over the years, Jin Kuramoto has won numerous prestigious design awards, amongst them the iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award.

Egidio Panzera, architect and designer, considers design the narration of an idea that stems from constantly seeking limits, whether related to a space, an object or a thought. This narration involves research, creativity and design. It reveals emotions, beauty and functionality. In design, the initial idea must be recognisable. It should be the very soul of the project.

The Panzera Studio was set up in Seregno (Italy) in 2002 and operates between Milan, Moscow and Shanghai. It specialises in industrial design and in the design of residential and commercial spaces, offices and exhibition areas. The studio collaborates with prestigious companies in the international arena, including Billiani, Confalonieri, Del Tongo, Faram, L&S, Metalmobil IFI, Noteborn, Pamar Italia, Porada, Sacea, Scholtes Indesit, Stampmatic and Wudesto Wurth.

Staffan Holm is a Swedish designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, working with interior architecture as well as industrial and furniture design. He works to join quality and craftsmanship combined with a humanist aspect and has won several prestigious design awards around Scandinavia.

The poetry of handcraft and the possibilities of modern technology are at the core of Staffan Holm’s practice. The Swedish designer worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker before entering the renowned School of Design and Crafts (HDK) in Gothenburg, where he later founded his studio 2008. It's there Holm realises his vision of conveying human qualities and emotions through his high-quality pieces.
